"Zero size" drive issue is very common because no USB adapter supports old CHS-only accessible IDE drives.

You misunderstood. Only the flickering was fixed which was new display related bug. The rest is usual program not waiting for the blitter and cycle-exact not being accurate enough.

Only KS 2.0+ knows what to do with Z3 boards. KS 1.x leaves them unconfigured (and if there is any Z2 boards "behind" it, they are also left unconfigured)

Which is strange because all changes only affect PCem boards. Retest when next official beta is released.
