Why not change 'when inactive' to pause emulation or even low? Seems a bit much to try and pause the video when it's there - if you have it open it must be doing something or you'd just surely close...

Dungeon Master - some of the puzzles are pretty good - spell casting is really good.
Bloodwych - the two player option is always fun, spell systems not as good but still a worth while game to play...

Arc and Nodes of Yesod, for me, required a map. It was so easy, especially if you fell, to get lost in those games. Same with most of those style of games like Underwurlde, Robin of the Wood, etc....
