I am really happy I upgraded all 3 of my Goteks (going through the hassle of ordering that serial device to program them) to HXC firmware (2 of my 5 was bought with the HXC firmware pre-installed)...

I ended up buying buzzer kits from this guy at amibay (http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?65348-Gotek-Buzzer-kits-x2). Works really good. Highly recommended.

I found that the Gotek HXC editor don't work with Cortex firmware. You can look at what you have assigned to all tracks but not add/remove or do anything else with it.
