how does that even make sense? the monitor and floppy are powered by 2 seperate power sources! and even if they wasnt a CRT monitor uses higher levels than +5v!!!

I think he is more likely refering to the ability to install the OS and choose Kickstard from within the Accelorator - an ability the ACA500/ACA500+ devices have. I dont see much use for this on 1200...

It only goes one way -i.e pin 1 to pin 1 - it works just the IDE led dosnt work and this adapter is supposed to fix that.
