I will investigate how it behaves with other games and maybe find a way to run more of them the same way.

I know that if you have real IDE CDROM you could use CD32 emulator from IDEfix97 package. I never investigated...

It boots to 4mb and I have to reset to get full 9.5 MB

I checked, my R612 is 47K Ohm as it should be. So that solution is NOGO for me.
