This is very true, but the MegaDrive has better graphics hardware than the A500 (I know - sorry), and it wasn't done U.S. Gold, but rather by the mothership: Sega. I wish they'd done the Amiga...

I've only ever played it on the 1200 I bought last year and it seems OK, but will have to try it on a 500 as well when I reacquire one.

Haha - I honestly sort of blame him for the fact I have (and still do somewhat) struggle with hoarding as an adult. I'm beating it though, albeit slowly.

I don't think the 8MB of RAM *would* be enough on the A500 with either OCS or ECS - you just don't have enough chip RAM for scaled versions of all the scenery and cars; not at decent bit depth...
