I soaked mine in warm white vinegar for 20 mins and then gave it a gentle scrub. Mine came out looking as new and it was HEAVILY rusted @simon_m74 can attest to that!

I've used it without any issues. Back in the day, I used it to transfer ADFs straight to disk, and that worked well, too.

Use a CRT and go HDMI to SCART for 2nd output.

Or

Use SCART to HDMI upscaler for 2nd output

Or use best of both and use CRT...
