Haven't played Bloodwych, but I did played the sequel Hexx and it's quite good.
If you play on Amiga or PC, the sequel was VGA so they're pretty much the same.

I think they worked on the game over 3 years (released in 1996) and strangely Chaos Engine 2 was released the same year for Amiga, not sure why it didn't get released but I read something about it...
