With no seek times, it should boot up WB pretty well :)
I'm sure a 68K ASM wiz will come along and shave a couple of cycles off.
Where in memory will SPI live?

It does sound good. Super simple hardware and save the complexity for the drivers. A little faster than a floppy is good enough IMO.

Maybe people would enjoy a simple microSD card interface added...

It's a neat idea, to have modular boards with a connector on the side. Maybe 2.00mm to save space? Then there could be a SRAM ranger board, SRAM auto-config board, DRAM board, or whatever people want...

Do you mean to remove the SRAMs and have a separate board for memory? The fastram in ranger-space was very novel and cute solution, but these are also interesting ideas.

How would you do DRAM and...

It might be difficult to achieve with one DPDT switch, but I think you could get total system ram to 512k if:

- JP4 on Gary adapter to "512K".
- EXRAM disconnected on trapdoor board (some had a...

Hi,

The jumpers can be a bit confusing, even for me. So here's the best set up:

1.0 Chip RAM + 1.5 Slow RAM = 2.5 total

Motherboard: Install MOS 8372A Agnus and bend pin 41 if REV 5 (google...

I think that old board you have has 1.5MB of RAM on it and can only be mapped into slow RAM. So this is the only valid set up, you'll need to keep the motherboard JP2 (no wire) and JP7A in the...

If you are going to tinker with this, take care with the Kicad schematic. I think VMA (pin 19 of old 68000 socket) is driven wrongly. It should come out of a 74LS157 mux. IMO I would dump the 157s...

This is what I would do:
C11: none

C13: none
C19: 4.7uF tantalum (10 volts or better)
