I can't explain why, but my A1200 with ACA 1230 56mh became stable when I placed some very small heatsinks on some chips on the mainboard itself (not on the CPU of the ACA-card)...

:) In 1995 I used a very big / heavy 3,5 inch HD. I was glad the HD could 'sit' on the rf-shield. Nowadays, with a cf-hd this isn't a problem.
