What would be the best way, without using a LAN, to transfer files from the PC to the Amiga ?

Would a simple serial nullmodem cable be ok ?
Or would it be better to grab a Amiga to PC transfer...

The next three are for the amount of memory.
on/off/off = 2MB
on/on/off = 4MB
on/on/on = 8MB
