A Dragon 32 can load most TRS-80 CoCo 1 cassettes. Mostly because they are 95% the same hardware and ran the same Microsoft BASIC.

One thing to remember is that a PI runs Linux and a Arduino microcontroller is just bare metal. So if you need fast polling or fast interrupts a PI might be an issue.

It's not really an emulator. A patched copy of the Mac OS is running directly on AmigaOS.

As far as I know there is nothing like a VM for the Amiga. The hardware of some 030/040/060s support it.
