Yeah, WHDLoad is magic. I love how I can run a clean OS3.1 (or even 1.3) temporarily with WHDLoad, just booting off from a drawer - perfect for programs that for whatever reason don't run so well...

Off-topic, but ... something is wrong here, but I guess you don't see it since you have >NIL: :)

In general, "Path >NIL:" is a bad idea, it's one of those commands you want to know when it fails.

I can certainly imagine that it doesn't work with bsdsocket.library emulation in UAE, since you are then not running a TCP stack on the Amiga, and the host OS will "eat" those ICMP packets anyways.
