Am I seeing 3 jumpers in that screenshot Alexh? I can see two obvious ones on the main area, but I can see what looks like a closed off one right next to them

Cheers for the replies guys, very helpful indeed. Sadly though it isnt the PCMCIA slot I'm using, but a CF Card thats connected where a Hard Drive would usually be.

Well I tried every concievable Jumper setting. Even used three at one stage and still no joy. Put in a 4MB Card and the CF Card works fine.
So it appears my 8MB Memory Card is faulty. Maybe

8MB Memory Card issue

Managed to get a CF Card setup with WHDLoad but unfortunately I'm having problems with it - due to a faultering 8MB Memory Card.

I'm 100% certain it's because of this because if I use a friends...

A1200 doesent boot up with HD connected

Ever since I'v had the Amiga 1200 it's always been erractic in booting up although it's only now I'v realised this only takes place when the HD's connected.

Previously it has booted up more often...
