Most filesystems have test suites, so there's tests for this out there...

I have both a OSSC and a Invision AGAmk2 connected to my 4k at the moment. And for games the OSSC is far better.

OSSC -> No tearing or lag, setup is far easier and it resyncs faster on mode...

run sdl-config --libs to see what exact -l<lib> you have to add, note that this is case sensitive so -lSDL2 not -lsdl2 as in a previous example line.

...not to mention no decent sourcelevel debugging, systems that will crash on a minor bug, any form of testing is a pain, etc.

I think the bigger problem might be that the mode would be interlaced on Amiga (Highres Laced).

And the artstyle is full of single pixel width lines, flicker is probably really really bad for that...
