I know it's a long way off, but this, with a JIT interpreter for system friendly 68k binaries, and UAE for hardware banging software, would be amaze. A next-gen amiga for all.

I'm surprised that he put the boot into Putty though. It still looks great, sounds great and plays great and is full of genuine laugh out loud moments.

Wow that's actually a really nice solution and probably the way to go for a 'proper' 68k browser. As long as the cloud server can be hosted on the local network.

There's not much difference between this and simply using VNC client to control a browser on another desktop on your network. If you're reliant on another machine for rendering why not make it one...

The other CD based consoles were also really poor value, they all were until Playstation.

That's the biggest benefit of ecs, you can have up to 2mb chip ram. With an a500+ and 1mb in the trapdoor I was able to make bigger and better animations in dpaint3 than my mate with his ocs amiga....

Linux, Windows, and MacOS have the desktop world all sewn up. Maybe Amiga OS could have been where Next is now, had it been owned...

Perhaps it is not the best the amiga could do, but as an experience of visuals, music and gameplay it has stood the test of time I think. Enjoyment to fresh eyes today is the key here.

I think I used to use one which you set up with text files and use with AmiTCP. So I would try other GUI based optios first as suggested here, or even check in case there’s one built into Genesis.
