Based on what Reshoot-R does in places and the theoritical limits of AGA, I'd say there are many situations even in action games, an A1200 would be overall superior to SNES and Mega Drive.

I'd say it has the edge in both processing and redraw speed over Shapeshifter. Not much, but it's visible, especially in games, ie Civ 2.

I believe you could have 1920x1080 in 8-bit or even *just enough* for 15-bit colour. If the modes aren't there, I suppose you could create them yourself.
