Take a look at the notches on the sides of the connector. The A600/A1200 require a card with a 5V key notch (slim). If your card has a thick 3.3V notch, it will not fit.

Type II fits totally fine.

HDToolBox will always wrap around at 4GB but that doesn't mean the partition will be smaller - you just need to calculate the size manually. HDToolBox from OS3.1.4 has this fixed.

It is also possible to just have 1.3 inside a directory on your boot partition and redo the assigns to point there.

The 3.9GB thing is a DOpus feature most likely. PFS3AIO is the only one that is still maintained for 68k, so I would definitely recommend it.

Since you're running 3.9, you can use the info command...
