The WB is 33.56 (from Startup-Sequence). The Extras Disk has no Version, but both disks came with my A500 back in 88 so it's save to give it the same version number.

GetSCSI11 (http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/GetSCSI11) claims to be able to extract and patch scsi.device to make it usable for Kickstart 1.x. You need to boot from floppy then.

What exactly do you mean by does not boot up. Does the drive spin up. Can you see/hear accesses to the disk and then the purple screen?

A purple screen suggests a ROM error (or resident modules)....
