Is there problem with 64bit Semprons?

Hi,

I am running Amikit on two laptops. The first is an Acer 1801 with 3ghz and 2gig ram P4. It runs great.

My second laptop is a HP NX6325. This has an AMD Sempron 3500 ( 1.8ghz ) with 1.5gig...

I have got a scsi hard drive in my PC and would like to format and install workbench etc on it so i can put it back in my A2000.

When i start up WinUAE, i add the drive from the drop...

When i say 'anything', i mean the disks i tried from my collection.
It may have been a fluke but i just happened to read whatever i put in. I may have been just a bit lucky.

It will let you boot anything, even original copy protected games.

So you can get out your old collection and forget about making ADF files forever!

I am using Windows XP home edition.

Like i say, the windows drivers are disabled, the joysticks are now working, but the disk isnt, under Winuae that is.

The IO program has always worked, it told me the number i needed was 'a800'.

So that is what i put in my configuration files.

Any luck with disks in winuae?

Youre right, windows driver work fine for transfering ADF files across.

I am just confused now,

i get a disk icon up on workbench which is unreadable and no joystick response.

Do i need to set the joysticks up at the front end of winuae or should they automatically...

I am getting the icon on my screen but it is greyed out and it says under the icon ' CAT unreadable'

It doesnt matter what disk is in there and there seems to be no lights or action from my drive....

There is no mention of what you asked. The only thing i can find in relation to CAT device is this:
