I wonder why Commodore never used a faster 68000....

I wonder why Commodore never used a faster 68000.
A 14MHz A500+ and A600 would have been so cool. And not that much more expensive. By that time the 68000 was very mature.

I can't write this often enough. Leave PC monitors be. Go for 4:3 LCD TVs (800x600 or 1024x768). They are cheap as dirt, guarantee PAL support and have Amiga-friendly ports.
