i picked up a SCSI2SD v5, and set it up with a 8gb SD card (divided into three drives - first 480mb, the other 2 around 3.5gb).....

this is probably a dumb question, but if it is a faulty CPU and that's the only issue, could i use a, say, ACA500plus without replacing the CPU? or do accelerators like that require a functioning CPU...
