In Turrican, especially 1 and 2 IMO, there's a lot going on the screen.
I would be rather annoyed when the screen would scroll directly and exactly every pixel the player moves left/right/up/down....

I would say that it was rather the exception that this was bundled.

Well, I grew up with Arcades and was still happy with Final Fight. The flaws were obvious back then of course. But I still found it playable, I had fun with it. Same with Strider or StreetFighter2....
