Too high G2 = grey screen with retrace lines.
Check the service manual for the correct G2 voltage and adjust using a multimeter.

I've seen plenty of 14" and 21" TVs with SCART, but only the composite pins were connected.
On bigger TVs the RGB was available though.

IceDrake - Amiga chipset is implemented in FPGA so you can have output on both Amiga RGB (native) and HDMI.
