Also, make sure you clean all the flux off. Using a multimeter, if you measure resistance to ground, do you get any readings on any of the Denise header pins?

I just use an expansion memory board with at least one the memory places socketed - so that I can just put in a memory chip and use Amiga Test Kit to test it.

I tried last night on my A500 with only 512K CHIP ram and it was working OK for me. The key is to test if/when the command returns - as something is causing it to do that.

You can convert IPF files in to HFEv3 to be used in a Gotek. Or use Greaseweazle to write them on to floppy disk.

(You can't convert any IPF with copy protection to ADF).
