Correct me if I'm wrong but for use with the phx ptplayer sound engine you will need the SFX samples to be in a raw format, not 8SVX. That's at least how I used it previously anyway!

I've just downloaded LHA 2.2 from aminet and that has extracted it fine :great

I think main difference is the big sprites. They're not present on the original but the walking bomb is more prevalent in the original as a result so I suppose it is horses for courses!

Tried it on my Amiga 1200 and as you probably expect it exhibits the same behaviour. I blizkicked a 2.04 rom and 1.3 rom and both crash on the menu. I plan to get my A600 out later to test with.
