Don't bother with the Installer disks for the Apollo 1260. Get the MuLibs archive from Aminet. It's more stable and faster than the original libraries, and offers improved features.

The plugs must be connected correctly at both ends. Pin 1 should be labelled in the interface and the drive. Pin 1 on the cable should have a red stripe on it. Make sure you match pin 1 to pin 1.
