Possibly a silly question, but have you tried hitting right amiga+M to turn on the music? Seems like some versions of Imploder default to the music being off.

I've been having problems with some DX9 shaders...

I've been having problems with some DX9 shaders in DX11 mode as well, xBR shaders especially. There are some fuzzy edges in the image (best seen on the Kickstart 1.3 startup screen) that aren't there...

Amigo! 92-04 (1992-08-07)(CompuTec Verlag)(De)(Disk 2 of 2) gets recognized as data disk by the game, should be on the EAB file server. I just tried it and it seems to work. :)

PAL is 50 fps, which might seem a bit more flickery than NTSC at 60 fps. Both framerates suck on a CRT anyways. :)

UADE renders the sound at 3.x MHz internally, you simply cannot avoid resampling. And the sinc resampler has the best quality of the available options, so go for that and be happy. :)

TBH I've never tried that, because there's no interest about it on my side. I can live with the shell frontend uade123 just fine, but maybe someone else can have a look at building some GUI.

I've read through my old PM correspondence with OddbOd and re-discovered the solution. You'll have to grab the source archive libao-0.8.8-1-src.tar.bz2 from one of the Cygwin mirrors....

I keep getting those libao debug messages too on a fresh Cygwin install. Years ago I managed to get rid of that by replacing some files, but I really forgot which ones are needed... :(

I think I've played around with it years ago but never could make it work either. You're better off playing the proper CD³² version of the game. :)
