That also was my first thought, the main sprite is much to large.

But the graphics seem 3d to me, not photoshopped, so maybe it looks better in motion (or if it´s finished... ;) ).

BTW: there is a second purpose for the bombs: if you have the Lion-Sword and hold the fire-button it loads a kind of smart-bomb (see shot)
