Looks promising! I never found Amiga network filesystems all that reliable, especially for big files (like a backup). Also, I could never get Putty working 100% with a remote shell.

I've only used amitools under Linux.
My A4000 is limited to 512Mb ROMs (without hacks) so I never tried ROMDisk.

Last year I was browsing eBay and saw some odd looking 72pin 32Mb simms.

Yes, I believe there is a new AmiSSL in the works. I have a A4000/030 (with FPU) but it is sick and waiting for me to do a recap.

WinUAE tests are kind of pointless for this. Use Chrome.
