The fact that only one byte (a flipped bit of it) indicates that probably the writing process of the eprom had an error....

Looks like there is 1 byte difference between the 2 roms.

on the left side it is an e and on the right side it is an % (just before 02ΓΌ04)

It means that the roms are up to 99.98% identical.
