Unfortunately not, as far as I am aware you cannot boot from the PCMCIA slot.

I suggest you investigate a CompactFlash to IDE solution to be able to boot from a CF card.

It's set to $200000 atm, which is the value most people suggest for a mediator graphics...

Thinking about it, it may well be the Voodoo, it's a card of unknown provenance, and it failed to work in a PC...

I suspect it wouldn't be the best plan. Solder paste is usually acid based so might hurt the PCB - most soldering flux is Rosin based.

Check eBay for Topnik RF800 - it's pretty cheap and very good!
