I know one of my cards caused strange booting behaviour and needed to be reseated in the slot - I gave the contacts a quick clean and all was well.

I assume this reference is made to a thin black "rod" more than a bar that is in my case, connected from one end where the Zorro slots are at the top, all the way to the front of the case.

I have an A1200 and A500+ both have their merits.

The A1200 will cost more to setup with maybe an accelerator and a hard drive solution but then is a great all-rounder for AGA games, WHDLoad etc....
