I prefer low latency before raising the clock. This way the processor/GFX spend less time waiting & wasting clock cycles, which also keeps chipset at a lower clock with little or no overclocking.

I don't think its a good idea to use a right angle adapter in a desktop A1200,you are more likely to damage the PCMCIA port when typing or just a little force.

Right angle adapter is more suited...
