Had a play with the Speccy version and found it...

Had a play with the Speccy version and found it hard but enjoyable and quite smooth. There's even a mouse version out there which was interesting too!

I think i had the same problem. So for changing 1 colour many times I used the DisplayRainbow command and edited the palette. Got a nice few copper bars bouncing around using that.

I get something that looks like that in JetHunt AGA occasionally too. (Yes I'm still very slowly trying to finish it!) Can't recreate it. Will be sort of pleased if it's not my code causing it!

Probably not the best way but I loaded the wavs into modplug tracker on a pc then saved it as a protracker module. On the amiga then I just saved out the samples. :)

Instead of using the Block command couldn't you do an extra long bitmap containing all the frames then just change the y position? That would save lots of blitter for the bobs.

Well I'm a Blitz person. It has assembler built in too not that I really use that (probably should though) and there is lots of example code out there. But it's whichever works for you. :)
