Than would I recommend a 1230 card - I would say that's the most used config nowadays. Try to get a Blizzard 1230 IV - rock solid and works in every A1200.

I think thae RAM Expansion from icomp is a little bit better - 10MB with full support of the PCMCIA port. Additional it has an IDE speeder but you have to buy a RTC clock....

Nope, but you can fix this problem with a 4MB PCMCIA Ramcard. The PCMCIA SRAM is not really fast - but enough for a small 3.1 installation.

Already tested it on my A4000 and the V1200. Siginificant speedup on the 060 - fast enough to surf on the a1k baord with my A4000. The V1200 is much faster than my A4000 with the 060 and PPC...
