Ok Amiga Buffs
I was once cleaning my A500 and noticed on the mainboard were the words B-52" and in the bottom corner was the words "Rock Lobster" So My question is.....What is the Conection betwen the Amiga and the BC52's (or B52's) ?? Cos as we know Rock Lobster is an Album by the B52's. I suspect there is no Connection, but !! If there is no connection why was the wording there ??, and is it a coincidence ??. My final question is a simple one.......AM I THE ONLY 1 TO NOTICE THIS ?? Last edited by CPC464; 07 August 2002 at 17:13. |

It is certainly no coincidence. No, you are not the only one to notice it.
![]() This B52 trend was started by George Robbins (RIP), with the A500. The working title of the A500 was 'B52'. George's moniker on the motherboard is 'Grr'. The A600 motherboard has 'Junebug' on it, the A1200 'Channel Z'. The CD32 has 'Spellbound', a song by Siouxsie and the Banshees. Thus, George didn't work on the CD32. |
