As stated in the title, I'm looking for the uncut version of the great distortion guitar sample from Lotus Esprit Turbo, seems like they shortened the sample for the game, propably to save space. I remember hearing and even using the same sample as a longer version but cannot recall the name of it or any of the mods that had it. Tried to look into lotus.mod for clues but it's filename x475090x.546 doesn't return anything in google....

So if anybody could put the sample to the zone or let me know some song that has it it'd be greatly appreciated!

You can make a loop with music tracker in sample editor.

I know about making loops, been toying with trackers since '93, but that's not what I'm after. Short, cut, distortion guitar sample, atleast in this case, is pretty much impossible to get to loop. I'm looking for the original uncut sample and I know one exists. Seems like they cut the sample at 4000 bytes (or bits? I'm gettin scatterheaded as I grow old ), feels stupid considering the bonus game etc, I'm sure they could have gotten the required extra space by cutting something else than the most essential sample of all game music!

I'd like to get the sample for my own projects and I even remember once "fixing" the lotus.mod by replacing the cut sample with the uncut one and remember it sounded better when the guitar didn't constantly get cut off. Too bad my name memory is gone, I remember that many mods of the era used the same guitar sample, maybe it was even part of the st-sampleset? But with no filename there's not much to go on....
