That free GoldEd

Hello Amiga-Addicts,

GoldEd versions was released free of charge many times before, but they seen to have magically disappeared from the net. I have a incomplete version of GoldEd 5, the free version, but I am looking for a more complete (specially with a full setup script).

If anyone have the full setup, please you could put it in the zone for me? Only if this not causes any trouble for you.

I don't think that we can zone this. It was up for download for a limited time only on the author's website, and the author denied redistribution. So it would be bad for EAB if it was in the zone.

Maybe someone will PM you.

From the licence:

This a fully usable GoldED 5 distribution. This is not a retricted trial version. Feel free to give away copies of this software to your friends or enemies. It is however not permitted to distribute this software on CD-ROM, cover media, web sites, ftp sites or any other form of public medium. Distribution must be strictly non-commercial and free of charge (including medium) A full distribrution licence for GoldED 5 (without these restrictions) costs 500 US-$.

So it should be perfectly legal for it to be shared around by individuals. I can mail you a copy if you have not gotten hold of it yet.

Seeing as the licence clearly stated no distribution by 'websites' I would say this could cause a problem!!
