VHD should have other virus killers available for download too.

I'd still say it's a good idea to be booting from floppy though. If your harddisk becomes compromised it might not be that good an idea to load stuff from it as it might cause the virus scanner to become inefficient.

Djay, they're two versions of virusexecutor. A bootable floppy version, which I uploaded for you in the zone (you said you wanted a virus checker that booted from floppy), and HD a version that can be found on the site linked by Retroman.

Just have a good read around the site and all will be revealed.

The HD versions are also included in all my Classic WB's, with the latest reference, brain and program (V2.24) files (Sept 2002).

funny really because i really "into" the Amiga scene first time around, play all the games, did some coding, enjoyed the odd scene demo, listerned to some of the best tunes, i didn't have a HD so that part is new to me and i didn't really touch WB....

.... on the PC its a totally different story!!! have work as network admin, techie and retailer!!!

Djay, are you running a 2MB A1200?

If so I'd really try and get a fast RAM expansion so you can use the FULL or ADV version.

The LITE still works great for a stock 2MB Amiga if you can't find an expansion and has all the features you're likely to need.
