Question OCS/ECS on Multisync Monitor

I installed the Italian Version of The Secret of Monkey Island on
my A1200 HD with Multisync M1438s Monitor in DBLPAL.
The only way to run it is to set the OCS/ECS display mode at the
early startup-boot else I get a corrupted screen.
I don't like this operation and I would like to make a script with IconX
including a software doing it for me.
I tried to save a PAL setting with ScreenMode program (Prefs drawer)
to run just before Monkey and other tools like KillAGA, NoAGA, RunLame
from Aminet, but with no result. These Utils set the correct screen in PAL
HiRes behind the Monkey corrupted screen (I can see it using the mouse).

Can anyone suggest me a solution to skip the early startup-boot?
Thx
