Pamar Raw R/W Utilities
I came across these utils while nerding about the internet.
http://www.pamarsystems.com/raw.html Has anyone of you lot tried these before? I thought they looked interresting and if not suitable for sps then atleast for regular adf imaging. Quote:
Edit: Should mention that I'm unable to test it myself because I don't have a Windows box with a floppy drive in it here. Last edited by Skope; 05 September 2010 at 10:40. |

Since this one goes through the FDD controller and it does not ask for a specific set of components (it might have some hardware "hacks" for)... this can't be anyting spectacular. But please prove me wrong.

I prefer using the command line utility RAWRITE2.EXE for floppy disk imaging.

Yeah, but it does go through the very same FDD controller, right? I am aware there are some formats that can be read, but you'll nevertheless get preprocessed data from the chip.
I am still wondering how far one can get with this. Any field experience, anyone? |
