Happy CAPS Reaches 2000 Games Preserved!

CAPS Reaches 2000 Games Preserved!

Thanks again to all those contributors that helped us make this possible!

Also in this batch are Piracy on the High Seas, and Abandoned Places 2, games developed by the founder of CAPS, IFW.

Congratulations

I must admit, when I first remember you talking about this project many moons ago I wondered what the heck you were trying to do, why you were bothering to do it, and if you would ever get started.

Well done, here's to the next 2000

Congratulations to all the CAPS team !

Abandoned Places 2 was a long awaited release, I'm happy that it is now in IPF! I think it was a hard game to find, so I suppose IFW must be happy to finally get a hand on it!

It is "difficult" answering emails at work, much less difficult posting on this forum. This is part of the reason why we are behind. We're catching up though.

Cool

Well done CAPS

How many more Amiga releases do you think there will be before you have to concentrate on other formats? There seems to be an endless stream of Amiga titles!

The main focus is Amiga mostly because that's where my heart belongs to, still
However there are quite a few games not out simply because they have either their protection tracks or data tracks in ST format, so covering that comes quite natural as long as you'd like to see games like the pre-v3.6 versions of "Dungeon Master" or "Chaos Strikes Back" in ipf both using the PACE ST flakey block data as protection or "Realm of the Trolls" or "Ninja Remix" completely in generic hw mfm - ie ST, PC etc - and so on.
I guess there is some interest in seeing those

...and some guys here - like Belgarath, Duke, Idoru - work a lot to make that a reality sooner than later.
