CD32: how to open expansion port?
 

I really had no idea this could be complicated, but I found myself unable to open the expansion port cover of the CD32. I removed the screw and thought it would easily pop out, but it doesn't! Where am I supposed to exert force? Which way does it pop out? I didn't want to break it so I gave up and came here.

looking at it from the back...push a medium sized flat screwdriver in the gap and and about 10 mm from the bottom (this is where there is a clip) on the right hand side of the cover then gently push the screwdriver to the right and up at the same time so it hinges on the left like a door keep going till you free the clip on the left hand side.

At lot of used CD32`s have these clips broke because of the brute force used to take them off :(

Would you be so kind to post a photo of where?
Am I supposed to open it like if it has a hinge on one side, slide it out parallel to the case, or pop it towards me? I'm really confused and don't want to break it :(

Stupid Commodore doing ridiculous things like this again...
