Just found a nice looking Breakout/Arkanoid clone called 'Cyber Sphere' :

Wondered if anybody has the full version of that one :) I've also attached the readme of the demo version if someone what's to try to contact the author of this little gem... ;)

Nice little project for the coming week I think....!

TCD 22 November 2010 00:10

Thanks in advance Peter :)

Fabie 22 November 2010 00:30

Cybersphere is the best arkanoid game type for the miggy I fninished it years ago

Joe Maroni 22 November 2010 05:26

I have the full game since long time ago....
but are you sure that this game is lost?
not on tosec or any other source?

TCD 22 November 2010 11:15

It's not in TOSEC, but seems it's on a 'Amiga Classix' CD. Will download that later then and put it on the file server if it's the full version.

Ok...if you can't find it I will upload later the dms file to the zone
I'm not at home...so I can't upload right now

Peter 22 November 2010 11:44

Well this is all good news so far...!

Makes me wonder just what other games everyone has stored away in disk boxes!!

TCD 22 November 2010 18:52

Okay, seems like the full game is version 1. TOSEC has a demo of version 2 and then there's the 'Plus' version. So you could check which version you have Fabie.
Full Version is on the file server now :)

Edit : CRC32 of the ADF is 15FAA88C btw.

ok
I uploaded my version to the zone...maybe is the same version you have uploaded ?
btw, also there is a dos version ...seems done later in 1996
a bit different....than the miggy version....I don't know which is better

TCD 22 November 2010 19:38

Yep, it's the same.
Edit : Seems like the disk has the 'plus' data though. The demo disk I uploaded has a newer binary which is also slightly bigger though. The TOSEC 'v2' is actually the oldest.

Fabie 22 November 2010 19:59

ok
I don't understand very well what means that "plus" name
maybe extra levels?

TCD 22 November 2010 20:06

From the readme of the plus demo :
Quote:

To order the original "Cybersphere" and/or the exciting new "Cybersphere PLUS Levels", send the following information along with your payment, to the address below.
So it seems to be new levels.

Heavy Stylus 07 December 2010 20:24

Sorry guys, has the full version of Plus been found then? Or is this one still in progress? Joe Maroni - any contact from the coder?

Joe Maroni 07 December 2010 20:28
