How 'wanted' are these games?

The following are for sale on another forum site...
Quote:

Skidmarks AGA - $10
Civilisation AGA - $10
Sensible Soccer - $5
Ikari Warriors - $2
Powertmonger - $5
The Immortal - $2

Capcom collection (Strider2 / forgotten wolds / Ghouls and ghosts - 6 Orig Floppys only) - $3
Operation Wolf - (Orig floppys only ) - $2
(Prices in Au$)
Are any of these sought after? The guy selling them is in the same town as me, so I can pick them up & mail them to someone else if anyone wants me to buy on their behalf. (I was going to get an A1200 from the same guy, but bidding went too high for my budget... :disgusted )

Super Skidmarks: bad duplication on most disks, so yes, but be aware that it is likely to be bad just as well.

Sensible Soccer: if it is just called Sensible Soccer, no, all 3 versions of that are covered, the correct name and version number would be helpful.

Apart from some coverdisk specials, the two different editions of Sensible World of Soccer '95/'96 and International Sensible Soccer: World Champions are missing. The latter might be the alternate name of 1.2 in some territories though.
So if Sensible Soccer is any of the missing versions from the above text and only then, yes.

The rest is definitely not needed.

Here is the pic included with the listing... (downsized to fit 100kb limit)
Sensible Soccer is subtitled European Champions, & Skidmarks doesn't say Super...

Bad Mr Frosty 29 April 2004 08:59

That Skidmarks looks like the one I have(!), not fully AGA but comes with a AGA car disk.

Belgarath 29 April 2004 13:17

None of those games are needed by CAPS unfortunately, it is indeed the normal Skidmarks that CAPS already have, (and there's no aga only version of any of the Skidmarks games) and Sensible Soccer - European Champions is v1.1 which CAPS also already have. :(

Good info Belg, you should consider naming all the caps dumps for tosec!

Er... :D

Adeptus 30 April 2004 03:17

Well, bidding has gone to au$200 for the lot
(an A1200/40HD, the above listed games, sound sampler & MIDI stuff, & a few hundred 'blank disks' :rolleyes )

Kind of (well, completely... ;) ) off the original topic, but am I being unrealistic expecting to find an A1200 for under au$100?

Unknown_K 30 April 2004 05:07

I havn't seen an A1200 go for under $100 US on ebay, so $100 AU is pushing it, unless you can find one in your area not on ebay.

IFW 30 April 2004 07:23

Depends on where you live, in the UK or Germany a1200s are exchanged for a beer.

fiath 30 April 2004 09:27

We wish! I think they go for about £20+ in local papers, and £35+ on eBay. Probably much less at bootfairs though.

Well that's about a cheap night out in the UK now isn't it? :laughing

Damn our high prices and extensive variety of alcohol-sellers. :eek
