Amiga><Megadrive games?

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the games that appeared on both the Amiga and the Megadrive (doesnt matter which version came first).

Currently there is no Amiga emu on GP2x so Ill settle for the Megadrive versions for now.

Cheers!

King's Bounty, my fave Megadrive game, appeared on Amiga as well.
Killing Game Show was released as Fatal Rewind on Megadrive.

Belgarath 09 January 2006 19:08

Killing Game Show was known also as Killing Game Show on the Megadrive, I belueve Fatal Rewind was the US name.

And as I pointed out to Dast a full list of Megadrive><Amiga Games can be found on HOL.

Thanks, Belg. I stand corrected. On the Megadrive in Europe and Genesis in USA, the names differed.

Leander, but it is called Legend of Galahad on the Mega Drive. There is also an Atari ST version, needless to say the ST version was rubbish!

gifgit 14 January 2006 14:11

Wolfchild was ported to most consoles e.g snes, megadrive and game gear
Xenon 2 I think was on megadrive it was definitely on master system.
Chuck rock 2 was on megadrive and game gear.

Thanks for the info. I didnt realise it went under a different name on MD.

I think Megadrive games were developed on the Amiga? I mean actually coded/ported.
Am I correct? There was a devkit for the Mega on the 'Miga?

I don't know about the MD, but the Amiga was used as the development system for the Atari Lynx. Atari weren't too happy with that situation I bet!

alexh 16 January 2006 10:29

Almost all megadrive games were written using a PC.

In 1991/1992 a 486dx 66 was way faster and cheaper than any Amiga for compilation.

Handy, as it was called then, was created by ex-Commodore game creators Epyx. As they loved their C64's and Amiga's it's not a suprise that the original devkits were commodore based.
