Tales of Gorluth I - Remastered
Hey ho!
Please check out this video! Erik Hogan´s Scorpion Engine vs. Backbone! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQ-qI61JYbA |
Such a difference between the two versions is simply amazing. Looks like a different game.
earok, you have done a wonderful job with your scorpion engine :great :bowdown |
Indeed! He´s a fantastic coder!

Awesome work. I wish more games could be remastered to show how great the Amiga and classic platforms could be.
|
Forgot to ask, but the original game required ""huge" spec. Amiga".
Is the remasteted version we see on the video running an a A500 ? |
Quote:
It´s vanilla A1200 / CD32 / 020 in general compatible (50fps). Can´t confirm stock A500 right now. TOG is quite complex, even the Backbone version. So let´s see if we can optimise it even more... |
Looks very good. Thanks for all the hard work in the TOG series
Is this just a technical demo? Will a remastered version ever be completed? |
Quote:
There´s still a lot of work to do and it needs a lot of fine-tuning. In the end TOGIII will also benefit from this new engine. |

For a second step, let's hope for an A500 version then :p It's a good news that TOG3 will use earok's engine. |
Will the remastered versions be available for free to the original TOG buyers?
|
Looks amazing now..
