Such a difference between the two versions is simply amazing. Looks like a different game.

Awesome work. I wish more games could be remastered to show how great the Amiga and classic platforms could be.

malko 11 January 2020 12:37

Forgot to ask, but the original game required ""huge" spec. Amiga".
Is the remasteted version we see on the video running an a A500 ?

It´s vanilla A1200 / CD32 / 020 in general compatible (50fps).

Can´t confirm stock A500 right now.
TOG is quite complex, even the Backbone version.
So let´s see if we can optimise it even more...

Looks very good. Thanks for all the hard work in the TOG series

Is this just a technical demo?

Will a remastered version ever be completed?

It was a tech demo at first, but the game is fully completable now.
There´s still a lot of work to do and it needs a lot of fine-tuning.

In the end TOGIII will also benefit from this new engine.

I see (and it doesn't change the fact that the difference in speed is impressive...).
For a second step, let's hope for an A500 version then :p

It's a good news that TOG3 will use earok's engine.

Will the remastered versions be available for free to the original TOG buyers?

Tigerskunk 14 January 2020 12:34

Looks amazing now..
Great work, Viddi and Earok... :)

Looking forward to your next games done with Scorpion, Viddi...
This is literally a game changer (pun intended)... ;)
