Do you consider Amiga a console?
Obvious for some, stupid question for others, and a console for few... so, what do you think, and why?
I'd say *NOT*. Just because it has a keyboard, is "open" for outside solutions (than the mother-company) which makes it easly programmable and upgradable, has a floppy drive, has an operating system, and generally, can do almost everything you could want to do on a computer beside playing games. ;) |
I assume you mean "No, definitely not!"
Yup, that's what I mean, DD? ;)
COMPUTER COMPUTER COMPUTER!!! :p:D
For a minute there B I thought you were reffering to "DEVELOPERS! DEVELOPERS! DEVELOPERS!" :D
This is like asking whether you consider a cucumber to be a type of meat. Worst poll ever (not including SensiFan's shit!) :)
LOL, thanks P-J, but wait till the "Yes" sayers come into play... ;)

what kind of a person would think amiga is a console? a retarded one , perhaps?
LOL! :laughing
Anyone who dares to now vote "Console" or even "Maybe" will be thoroughly thrashed, lashed and whipped into the correct frame of mind by the EAB witch hunting mob!!! Whose brave enough to try? :blased Fred could, but he'd probably enjoy the beating... :laughing |
I could point to a few posts saying that Amy's a console, here, on LA or a few emu sites, but I won't... :p
By any definition, the Amiga is a Personal Computer, CD32 is a console.
CRAP POLL ALERT!
I voted yes, cucumber is a type of meat. |
As you pointed out, CD32 is both an Amiga and a console, so why would you vote "No, definitely"? Unless this is a joke, and then the joke's on me.

The CD32 wasn't an amiga or a console, it was a joke :D
Nope.... the CD32 was a console, well, also a computer as it had WB and all that stuff aswell.....
But all the A500, 1200 etc are NOT consoles. |
I feel that it is neither, but more a state of zen.
