Main Hall... DJ in a Pikachu costume playing Drum & Bass and two guys drinking beer and 'dancing'... nerd heaven :D
|
There was a cool ProTracker seminar before, they showed the "Black Queen" made by the king of mad patters: Dreamer of Flying Cows :D
|
Tracked music compo ruled espcially 4ch modules were fantastic! Pleasure to be here and feel the atmosphere. That is why I love eastern more then christmas ;oP
|
I really liked Übergoat and Wonka Honk :D
Edit: In the live coding compo one guy is making a Boingball ;) Edit 2:... and failed :( |
Theyre also all being uploaded to youtube on the revision demoparty channel, just watched the 4 ch compo, some amazing entries.

Hoffman won the tracker competition, and whilst I don't want to be a big head, I suspected he would do and correctly guessed which one was his as there was no names whilst they were running.
Have to say, the 4 channel Amiga Protracker mods without exception were better than the multi channel mods put out by other people. Hoffman did far more with his 4 channel mod than others did with 8 channel. For those that don't know, Professional Tracker was Hoffmans, and I also liked the second entry, Wonka Honk. Well done Ian, quality stuff, and not that drum and bass shite you love either! ;) |
Thoroughly enjoyed Revision 2014 ;)
|
As usual I missed the live stream :(
Does anyone know if Scenesat will be making the video available? |
|
This, in 4k and OCS is also impressive

Revision was a blast, even better than its previous incarnations. Excellent releases, awesome people (hello Britelite :D), good food, a visit to the hospital (lesson learned: falling down with a beer bottle = not a good idea :D but at least I marked the way to my car with lots of blood :P), all in all it was a (long) weekend well spent. :)

I agree it was the best Revision so far, almost as good as Breakpoint ;o) I liked new live-code compo, there more live concerts, maybe I would prefer more demo projection (if there were demos, 90% were from the Smash production, why?) like on Demodays. But still nice atmosphere, nice people around, great Amiga and oldschool compos.
And when I was walking around, I counted about 15 or maybe more Amiga machines which is more then usual ;o) |
For those who weren't at Revision here's the video of TDK's awesome concert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_q1lzlGlLw
